This weekend our very own principal Mr. Keskinturk was recognized by the Office of Congressman Lou Correa as one of the cities Men of Impact. Below are some words from our principal. 🫶🙌

Thank you all for your kind words and support. I am honored to receive this award on behalf of the amazing admin and staff of MSA Santa Ana. This recognition belongs to all of us.

What an unforgettable experience for our Robotics & AI students!

MSA Santa Ana proudly competed at the 𝗩𝗘𝗫 𝗔𝗜 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, hosted at 𝗨𝗖 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘆, where 𝟰𝟴 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 came together to showcase autonomous robotics and artificial intelligence.

This year, 𝗠𝗦𝗔 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗮 brought 𝟯 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 to the championship. One of our teams advanced to the 𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀, earning a place among the event’s top-performing teams and representing our school with excellence, determination, and innovation.

One of the highlights of the event was meeting 𝗕𝗼𝗯 𝗠𝗶𝗺𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗜𝗜𝗜, Co-Founder and CTO of VEX Robotics. Bob spent time with our students, listened to their ideas, reviewed their robot, and provided valuable feedback and encouragement.

Students also attended inspiring presentations, including a special address by 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗔𝘀𝘁𝗮, Dean of Engineering at UC Berkeley, who spoke about engineering, innovation, and the future of STEM.

Beyond the competition, students enjoyed exploring the 𝗨𝗖 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀, connecting with teams from across the globe, visiting iconic Bay Area landmarks such as the 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲 and 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱, and experiencing the culture, food, and energy of Northern California.

A special thank you to Bob Mimlitch III , Dublin Robotics Club , and Berkeley Engineering for supporting and inspiring the next generation of innovators, engineers, and technology leaders.

We are proud of our students for representing 𝗠𝗦𝗔 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗮, 𝗢𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆, and 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗮 on the international stage.

From morning announcements to checking in on classrooms and making some very important executive decisions like extra science activities? 😉, the Principals handled it all with a smile.

We are proud to spotlight two outstanding student leaders from MSA Santa Ana, 𝗘𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝗷𝗮𝘀 and 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗮𝘀, who were featured in the Young Entrepreneurs Interview Series during the 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗻 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at The Stanford Faculty Club.

Eliana founded and leads our 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 & 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯, helping students develop financial literacy and entrepreneurship skills. Sermet founded and leads our 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯, introducing students to real-world marketing, advertising, and business concepts.

Their interview highlights the power of 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, and creating opportunities for others to learn beyond the classroom.

Our students had an incredible opportunity to explore cutting-edge innovation during their visit to Stanford University.

The tour included visits to the 𝗩𝗔 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗮𝗯, the 𝗝𝗲𝗻-𝗛𝘀𝘂𝗻 𝗛𝘂𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿, and the 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿, where students learned about advanced robotics, biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence, and future technologies shaping our world.

Experiences like these continue to inspire our students to dream big and pursue careers in 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠, engineering, robotics, and innovation. 🚀
