Beginning October 1, 2012, Time Warner Cable (TWC) will be collaborating with Connect2Compete (C2C) to launch our Starter Internet pilot program bringing affordable Internet to qualifying families in our community.

Connect2Compete is a national not-for-profit initiative aiming to bring students and families online by providing $9.95/month Internet, low-cost computers and free digital literacy to families nationwide.

Time Warner Cable's Starter Internet pilot program will be available in more than 400 schools throughout the Time Warner Cable service area including 168 schools in the West Region. The program will expand to additional schools in 2013

To determine eligibility and to sign up, current Time Warner Cable customers should call 1-855-746-8704 or go to http://twc.com/starterinternet The enrollment period is available for 60 days from the start date (Oct. 1 – Nov. 30) and the cost will remain at $9.95 per month (including a free modem) for 24 months.

To qualify for Starter Internet, families must
• Have a child attending a participating pilot school
• Be current on their TWC bill
• Have not subscribed to our Internet service within the last three months
