Just wanted everyone to know how proud I am to work at REACH and SAUSD. Happy to announce that REACH Academy has been selected for the FIRST EVER Model Community Day School award in California. This is the first time in the states history that they are recognizing Community Day schools….and I am beyond proud of all the hard work of all of our staff to continue to REACH our students and support them in their lives!! Thank you to everyone for all the hard work and making this dream a reality!!!

A message to our REACH educators, staff and family:

As I sit here on this Sunday....the Sunday before school starts after being out for almost 17 months....I think about you guys and what you might be feeling. Apprehension, worry, excitement, unknowing of what comes next....all come to mind to what you all might be thinking about today or as you come into work tomorrow.

When I think of all of you I think of heart, determination, pride, guts, tenacity. Not just for our kids but for all of you. What each of you have gone through over this pandemic to get to this moment tomorrow is not without struggle and drive. All of you have grinded in your own way to get to where we are now. And that is to continue to do what we do: and that's build relationships and save lives.

I could not and would want to imagine a better group of educators and friends to be ready for tomorrow and the months to come. Whether you realize or not.....all of you are ready. Ready to welcome our students, ready to welcome our learning community back to do what we do best. So get some rest, know that none of you are alone and that we have each other. We will get through whatever comes next.....with each other. I love you all and get a good nights sleep. I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!!

Begining Saturday and Sunday, August 22nd & 23rd through the NEXT EIGHT (8) WEEKENDS, Medica Testing Group will be providing from 9 am to 4 pm, Drive through FREE COVID-19 testing for Santa Ana residents on the parking lot (Bristol side) of Santa Ana College.

Appointments (877-362-9779) are encouraged and walk-ins are welcome.

This is a partnership with the City of Santa Ana, Santa Ana College & Medica Testing Group.

Just want to thank everyone for all their hard work.....REACH was able to earn a 6 year accreditation with a 1 day visit!!! This is a tremendous honor and just shows all the hard work that REACH is continuing to do everyday for our kids!!!
