Global Business Academy’s Karen Garcia, class of 2025, competed today in Atlanta Georgia for SkillsUSA nationals in Job Skill Demo. After placing 1st in California, she went on to compete against over 40 other 1st place winners representing their state and various industry sectors. She is now advancing to finals tomorrow where she will fight to bring back gold for California, Santa Ana, Valley, and the Global Business Academy! We’re so proud of you Karen!!! Good luck tomorrow!!!

It’s been a while…so 2024 photo dump!

In GBA, community matters! Each year students volunteer in the city, but one of the most fun opportunities is Boo at the Zoo with Students get to gain experience & serve their community while building their resume.

Getting ready for and competing in SkillsUSA each year is hard work, but also a lot of fun! We get to bond, take a trip to Ontario, shop for clothes, show our skills, and eat good food! Medaling is just the cherry on top.

Our 1st field trip this year was to the California Science Center and IMAX theater in LA. We had a day filled with fun, friends, good food, and learning.

This summer, traveled to Atlanta, Georgia for where Yasmin competed in the Prepared Speech competition and placed 9th in the nation for round 1! We had a great time exploring, learning, and trying new foods. Thanks for supporting us with flights and hotels! Thanks for supporting with learning excursions and meals!

Congratulations to Desirie Corona, class of 2010, who just graduated from CSU Los Angeles with a Master’s in Special Education 🎓The is so proud of you!
