Congratulations to our cross country teams on a great day of competition.
And special congratulations to David on a new school record! What a special accomplishment!

🏆 HISTORY MADE! 🏆

Congratulations to David Martinez, who officially broke the Sanger boys’ 5K school record with an incredible time of 15:38!

The previous record of 15:41 was set by Jacob Perry in 2013 and stood for 13 years. David’s performance now places his name in the Sanger Cross Country record book!

The celebration captured in this photo says it all—an individual accomplishment made even more special by the support of his teammates.

Congratulations, David! Your hard work, dedication and determination have raised the standard for Sanger Cross Country! 💜💛
