🏆💜💛 DISTRICT CHAMPIONS x2! 💛💜🏆
What a season for Sanger Middle School Cross Country! Both our girls and boys teams brought home FIRST PLACE at the district meet! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
And our boys and girls didn't stop there — they won 4 out of 5 meets this season! 🔥
A huge congratulations to Coach McNairy and Coach Welborn for leading these athletes every step (and every mile) of the way. Your dedication shows in every finish line crossed.
Runners, we couldn't be more proud of you all. You represented the TRIBE with heart, grit, and purple-and-gold pride! 🪶

It's been a BUSY and amazing few weeks at Sanger Middle School, and we are so proud of our TRIBE! 💜💛

🇲🇽 Spanish students wrapped up the nine weeks with creative, hands-on projects in place of a traditional test, and they brought their A-game! The creativity, effort, and confidence we saw in their work was ¡increíble!

🙏 See You at the Pole brought students together before school to gather, pray, and support one another. Thank you to everyone who came out and started the day with such a powerful moment of community.

🏃‍♀️ Cross Country has been on a roll! Congratulations to our runners on their recent wins. Your hard work, early mornings, and grit are paying off, and we love cheering you on!

Our students continue to show up, work hard, and lift each other up. That's what being an SMS Indian is all about!

These sweet students “blew” it away with the Kleenex challenge. Thank you to all the parents that sent in tissues for our classrooms. Keep up the great work. Have an amazing week!

Our SMS GOAT for the week is the fantastic Mrs. Hamilton. Here is what her colleague had to say about her:

I’m so happy to pass the GOAT award to Mrs. Hamilton. I feel lucky to work alongside someone who brings so much care and kindness to our school community.

Mrs. Hamilton is always there to help and support the people around her. She has a genuine way of making everyone feel cared for, whether she’s offering a thoughtful gesture or simply checking in during the day. Her smile is infectious, and she brightens every room she walks into and helps students and staff feel welcome.

What I especially appreciate is how personally Mrs. Hamilton looks out for her colleagues. She reminds them to make healthy choices, like choosing fruits and veggies instead of sweets, encourages them to take care of their wellbeing, and remembers little details about passing conversations. She also makes a point of connecting with each student through individual handshakes and thoughtful one-on-one moments. Those little gestures mean a lot: they show that she truly sees each person and cares about them.

Mrs. Hamilton gives so much to our school, and I’m genuinely delighted to see her recognized. She absolutely deserves the GOAT award, and I’m honored to pass it along to her.

We are so grateful for the time we had with Julian. He will always be part of our Tribe, and his light will stay with us in our hallways and in our hearts.

Forever one of us, Julian. 💜💛

💜 Remembering Julian Amador 💛

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Julian Amador and continue to grieve alongside his family, friends, classmates, teachers, and all who knew him.

Julian was an incredibly bright student who challenged himself through honors classes. He was considerate and quiet—the kind of student you wanted in your classroom and the kind of friend you were grateful to have. He had a sharp mind and a sweet heart, and his presence helped make our school a better place.

Julian will be greatly missed. Our Tribe aches with the loss of one of our own.

Please continue to keep Julian’s family in your thoughts and prayers as they grieve this unimaginable loss. We ask our community to surround them with grace, compassion, and support in the difficult days ahead.

💜Julian will forever be remembered as part of our Sanger ISD family.

Just popping in to say we have the absolute butter half of school volunteers! 🧈💛 Thanks for the snacks, PTO! We sure do appreciate you! 💜

🍿TODAY WAS POPPIN’ AT Sanger Middle School🍿

The SMS PTO treated our amazing staff to a popcorn bar because keeping middle schoolers on track definitely deserves snacks. 😂

A HUGE thank you to all of our SMS parents who donated goodies to make this happen! Your generosity helped us spoil the people who spend their days teaching, encouraging, redirecting, reminding, and answering approximately 7,000 questions a day. 😉

We absolutely LOVE and appreciate our SMS staff and everything they do for our kids! ❤️

Thanks for helping us show our staff some love, one popcorn topping at a time! 🍿
