An Associates degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or a related field is required. Pay depends on education and experience.

There's still time to secure a spot for your child for the 2026–2027 NC Pre-K school year! If you haven't applied yet, we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible.
Already submitted an application but still need to turn in your supporting documents? Don't worry—there's still time to complete your application!
📅 NC Pre-K sites follow the Lee County Schools Traditional Calendar, and the first day of school is August 11.
Since our second placement round on July 13, we have continued reviewing completed applications and placing eligible children each week as applications are completed and seats become available.

📅 Los centros de NC Pre-K siguen el calendario tradicional de las Escuelas del Condado de Lee, y el primer día de clases es el 11 de agosto.
Desde nuestra segunda ronda de asignaciones, realizada el 13 de julio, hemos continuado revisando las aplicaciones completas y asignando lugares a niños elegibles cada semana, conforme las aplicaciones se completan y hay cupos disponibles.
