Shooting Stars Learning Center We offer childcare services for children birth to 12 years old. Feel free to stop by anytime for a tour! We accept childcare subsidy vouchers!

We believe that all children are unique individuals. Our goal is to provide an experience, which meet the child’s social, emotional, creative, physical and intellectual needs. Through hands on experience, children have the opportunity to explore their own individuality and creativity. We provide individual and group activities so the child not only learns about their world, but what role their peers have in it as well. Our staff provides a warm nurturing environment where the child can feel safe and secure. We strive to strengthen the child’s own cultural identity, and help them develop a respect for others who may be different. We encourage parent involvement whenever possible, inviting the parents to visit throughout the day as often as they like and we pride ourselves in having open communication with the parents at all times.

We are looking for a NC Pre-K Assistant Teacher to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dedicated team player, have a flexible schedule and have a passion for working with children. An Associates degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or a related field is required. Pay depends on education and experience.

Lead Teacher Qualifications:
Completion of EDU 119 or test out option, preferred
Minimum of one year experience working in a licensed childcare center, preferred.
