📚✍️ RLHC is so excited to announce that we will be offering Beginning Creative Writing: Word Warriors, for rising 6th and 7th graders this fall!
This course will be taught by a Christian author and certified AWSA coach.
Students will explore multiple forms of creative writing including:
✨ Fiction
✨ Personal Narratives
✨ Drama & Scriptwriting
✨ Poetry
If your homeschool student enjoys storytelling, imagination, and discovering how the written word can spark creativity and inspire others, this is the class for them!

We are thrilled to be introducing new core curriculum including Portals Edu (Bible, American History and Science), Singapore Primary Math, Daily Language Review, BJU Reading, and UFLI. 📚✏️

God has also blessed us with 5 new Academic Mentors joining our staff of highly qualified, Christ-loving teachers. ❤️

And we are excited to share that our enrollment has more than doubled! We are so grateful for the families the Lord is bringing to Rooted Learning Homeschool Center. 🌳

What a beautiful way to spend our last class day at RLHC! ❤️
Our day began with staff, students, and families joining together in prayer for the National Day of Prayer. What a blessing it was to come together in faith and gratitude as a school family. 🙏
A special thank you to Sophia and Jonah Godfrey for generously providing pizza for lunch! 🍕 Your kindness blessed everyone.
Our Academic Mentors were also showered with love by the BEST parents ever! 🎁 The thoughtful gift baskets filled with wonderful treats were such a blessing, but the sweetest gifts of all were the heartfelt cards and words of encouragement from students and parents. Those precious notes truly mean so much.
RLHC is such a special place filled with faith, friendship, learning, and love. God is doing BIG things here, and we are so thankful to be part of this incredible homeschool community! 🌳✨

It’s been a busy spring as we wrap up the final week of class! We are gearing up for a blessed summer break and time carved for assessments and orientations for the Fall Semester. Today our students put the finishing touches on their birdhouse projects by painting them with bright, colorful designs! 🎨🐦 What a joyful time we had watching their creativity come to life.
As we worked, we were reminded of how spring brings renewal and refreshment to the earth—and how, in the same way, Christ refreshes our souls. 🌱 What a beautiful lesson woven into such a fun day!
