I love the look and feel of all the beautiful fabrics in the world today. Making fabric yoyos is my way of quilting and utilizing those fabrics and colors. Making yoyos is an easy way to work fabric in a different fashion.

Our first customer!
Even though the store is under construction, I did have a customer stop by because she is wanting a T-shirt Quilt done.

So we looked past all the dust and craziness going in and again we’re hoping to be open for more customers October 5.

If you are in need of fabric or a T-shirt, Quilt order, please DM me and make an appointment to stop by for now until the flooring is complete.

What’s under my needle today 9/25?
Nothing today! Haha

However we are getting ready to move into our new shop which meant tearing down some things in our old store and moving it all to the house. My house is loaded with things for the new store!

And exciting news! 🎉🎉🎉

We will now have a seamstress to take alterations at our store!!
She will also be teaching basic sewing classes for tailoring your own clothes!
So either you can drop off your items at our store to be altered OR learn to alter them yourself.

We will be putting a class schedule together starting in November.

If you have things to be altered and just want to drop off- we will start to take those orders in late October.

Are you wanting to learn basic sewing or just have alterations done?? Put BASIC or ALTER in the comments. 😀

These colors are amazing!
Olive green, gold, bright, red, and burgundy. It reminds me of the leaves Turning.

I have all the rope made. Put it on the floor and have it wrapped around my shoulders to take it through the machine.

It’s so fun to see the rope come into a rug shape and how the colors go together

We’re moving!

I know everybody is very excited about the new quilt shop that we are opening. I’ve had so many people reaching out for the address and to know where it is and even people coming in to see what we have.

The Quilt fabric is coming in and we are just waiting to open it for when we move to the new location.

The store WILL NOT be located in downtown Sanford. 

***The Quilt store will be located on the other side of Sanford near the Lake Forest Publix along Route 46 . (Close to the 429 interchange). ****

We are waiting for the lease and paperwork to be signed before we release the address and a date that we will be open. Most likely it will be opening October 1.

The location will have more designated parking spaces and its own standalone building.

We will absolutely keep you all posted as we move forward.

We are very happy that you are all excited for the new Quilt store to be in Sanford. I know it’s been a long time since there was one in Lake Mary.

Try to be patient. 😊 we are also just as anxious to be open as you are.
