🐤Why we choose violence.
Not because we want to.
Not because we’re reckless, angry, or looking for a fight.
We choose it only when every other option has been ignored.
When boundaries are clearly stated
and deliberately crossed.
When warnings are given
and not respected.
When de-escalation has been attempted
and safety is no longer negotiable.
Violence, in this context, is not aggression.
It is protection.
Protection of our bodies.
Protection of our dignity.
Protection of the people we love.
That’s why we train.
That’s why we drill.
That’s why we talk about situational awareness—
so we can recognize danger early, set firm boundaries sooner, and avoid physical confrontation whenever possible.
But if a moment comes where avoidance is no longer an option, we refuse to be unprepared.
Choosing violence is never the first choice.
It is the last line of defense when safety is on the line and survival matters more than politeness.
Train your awareness.
Strengthen your boundaries.
Practice your responses.
So that if the moment ever comes—
you don’t freeze.
You protect.
