🦅 Attention Ingram Eagle Families! 🦅

We're excited to officially welcome you to ParentSquare, our new school-to-home communication platform!

Beginning this school year, all district, school, and classroom communication will be sent through ParentSquare. This will be your one-stop shop for important updates, reminders, forms, sign-ups, newsletters, and classroom communication.

We know some families may be wondering if this is like the Rooms app that was introduced in the past. The answer is no! ParentSquare is a well-established platform that has been successfully used across Lee County Schools in grades 6-12 and has received positive feedback from both families and staff. We are excited to bring that same experience to our Eagle families.

With ParentSquare, you can:
✅ Receive school and classroom updates
✅ Choose how and when you receive notifications
✅ Communicate directly with teachers and staff
✅ Complete forms and permission slips electronically
✅ View calendars, events, and sign-ups
✅ Access communication in your preferred language

📅 Important Reminder:
ClassDojo will be permanently turned off on August 1. After that date, all communication from J.R. Ingram Elementary and Lee County Schools will come through ParentSquare.

We encourage all families to download the free ParentSquare app or log in and activate their account as soon as possible.

Together, we'll continue to strengthen our Eagle Path through family partnership and communication—because every child is known, supported, and soaring! 💙💛

Last week we hosted our first ever Elementary Art Camp in partnership with the NC Museum of Art!! Thank you Mrs. Bryant for this wonderful opportunity.

Thanks to the incredible support of our volunteers, we have reached our PTO Thrift Shop goal of 150 hours! 🦅💙💛

Any hours worked through June 27 are now extra and will continue to benefit our school.

A special thank you to Ms. Spivey for being such a dedicated supporter of J.R. Ingram and for helping organize and coordinate this effort. Your commitment to our students and school community is truly appreciated!

Thank you to everyone who gave their time and energy to support our Eagles. We appreciate you more than you know!

🎒 Bridge to Kindergarten Registration is Now Open! 🎒

Once you have registered your child for Kindergarten and would like them to experience a sample day of how Kindergarten will run, please scan the QR code to register for our Bridge to Kindergarten program.

The Summer Bridge to Kindergarten program is a great opportunity for your child to become familiar with school before the first day and experience what Kindergarten is like in a smaller setting.

🌮 Nacho Average Staff = Nacho Average Year! 🌮

Today we wrapped up another incredible school year the best way we know how — together! Our staff celebrated with a Nacho Average Staff nacho bar lunch as we reflected on the hard work, dedication, laughter, and teamwork that made this year so special.

Today was also a time to celebrate milestones and new beginnings. We honored staff members who have dedicated 20 and 30 years of service to Lee County Schools, leaving a legacy of impact on generations of students. We also celebrated those who are spreading their wings and moving on to new adventures — while they will always be part of the JR Ingram family, they will certainly be missed.

To every staff member: thank you for your commitment, your heart, and the countless ways you show up for students each day. JR Ingram is special because of the people inside it. Enjoy your summer — you’ve earned it! 💙💛🦅
