We have a few more spots available for Jr Summer Camp next week July 19-22 at Carolina Lakes Golf Course. 8:30-10am or 6-7:30pm are the times available. The cost is $50 per student for the 6 hours of instruction. You can sign up by email, call or stop by the golf shop.

We have two summer camps scheduled before the kiddos go back to school. July 19-22 will be the first. There are slots open in morning and evening sessions. The cost is $50 per student ages 5-15. 1 1/2 hrs a day. Please call the golf shop or stop in to sign up.

It’s Class Time:
It’s that time a year where everyone gets a chance to gather for group lessons. Golf is so much more fun when you’re with a group, no matter what age. I am excited to announce that Golf Practice Night is BACK!! Remember there is a limit- the first 8 that sign up have a guaranteed spot. If we have 10 or more participants, we will add a Tuesday night and the first 8 have preference. The cost will be $15 per person for 1 hour of instruction.

Jr. School of Golf (After School Class):
You can start signing your Juniors up now - ages 5-15 are invited. There will be 4 different class times (1 hour each) that span over 10 weeks. The second hour will be reserved for experienced and older students. These spots will be limited to 8 in each class so sign up now! The cost is $120 per student which covers all 10 hours of instruction. This year’s class will be a mix of Fun, Etiquette and Sportsmanship, Competition and prizes, with take-home practice drills. Let’s get these young ones started off right!
First week of Class:
March 10th & 12th (Tuesday/Thursday)
Last week of Class:
May 12th & 14th

Get Golf Ready (Adult Beginner Golf Class):
This is the ultimate beginner class for those who are brand new to the game and to those who need a touch up on rules, technique, and etiquette. There will be 5 different sessions from April through September. Sessions are 4 classes each - once a week for 2 hours on Wednesday nights. The cost is $100 per person for 8 hours of instruction.
Session 1: April 15th- May 6th
Session 2: May 20th- June 10th
Session 3: June 17th- July 8th
Session 4: July 22nd- August 12th
Session 5: August 19th- September 9th

The second Get Golf Ready course still has spots available Starting June 26th. If you are a beginner this is the class for you. 4 week class Wednesday evenings for 2 hours. Everything you will need to know to get started playing golf. $100 a student. Call the shop or email for more information and to sign up

Spots are still available for the first Jr. Summer Camp. June 24-27th 8:30-10:00. $50 per student. The next two dates are July 15-18th and August 12-15th. Email or call the shop for more information or to sign up

So many people struggle with the first few sequences of the golf swing, here is one of my students working on their hand path immediately off the ball with the goal of getting his hands in front of his chest at the top of the swing. Check out before and after. Hands going too far outside too early will take you out of spine angle which directly effects the consistency of strike/path/face control. What are you struggling with?
