This post is for the individual who mistook our kindness for weakness.

At Little Dish Catering LLC, we have always believed in second chances. We welcome people from all walks of life and strive to treat everyone with kindness, respect, and compassion.

However, there are boundaries that will not be crossed.

Repeatedly coming into our business without any intention of purchasing food, booking catering services, seeking employment, or needing any of the services we provide is not acceptable. More importantly, behavior that makes our staff—especially our young employees—feel uncomfortable will never be tolerated such as coming in shirtless and hovering over our young adult staff.

You were respectfully asked on Tuesday not to return. When that request was ignored and you returned, law enforcement was contacted. You have now been officially trespassed from our property. We sincerely hope you respect that decision moving forward.

Our priority will always be providing a safe, welcoming environment for our employees, customers, and community. We will not apologize for taking the necessary steps to protect them.

We genuinely hope your circumstances improve and that you find the help and direction you need. We wish you nothing but the best as you move forward, but our business and our staff deserve to feel safe and respected.

We will try to have extra for the week for drop ins but go ahead and preorder yours now to guarantee you get one!

At Little Dish Catering, the health and safety of those we serve is always our highest priority. In light of recent reports regarding Cyclospora infections linked to some fresh produce, we want to reassure you that we are taking every possible precaution to provide safe, high-quality meals.

Our food safety practices include:

Purchasing whole heads of lettuce whenever possible instead of pre-cut or bagged salad mixes.
Removing and discarding the outer 2–3 leaves before preparation.
Separating and washing each leaf thoroughly under clean running water to remove dirt and contaminants.
When appropriate, using an additional vinegar and water produce rinse before a final clean-water rinse.
Maintaining strict handwashing and sanitation procedures for all staff before and during food preparation.
For menu items that include cooked greens, ensuring they are cooked to safe temperatures. While fresh salads remain an important part of healthy meals, cooking vegetables is the most effective method for eliminating Cyclospora.

In addition, we continuously monitor guidance from the USDA, FDA, and local health authorities and adjust our purchasing and preparation procedures whenever new food safety recommendations become available. The only way to 100% guarantee is to not serve these items.
