🔧 Welcome to the Automotive Team, David Bellanco!

We are excited to welcome David Bellanco as the newest faculty member in Seminole State College’s GM ASEP program!

David brings nearly 30 years of General Motors dealership experience to the classroom, including extensive experience as a GM Technician and Shop Foreman. He is a GM World Class Technician, holds ASE A1–A9 and L1 certifications, and has completed an impressive 1,868 GM factory training courses throughout his career.

We’re excited to have David bring his extensive industry knowledge and real-world experience to the next generation of GM technicians!

Wishing a Happy Retirement to our second year GM ASEP instructor and Program Manager, James Cokos. James has taught the ASEP program at SSC for over 12 years and has over 30 years of automotive shop experience. He has accumulated extensive automotive knowledge since working at his first Chevy dealership in 1977 (Third Photo), and he has passed that valuable expertise on to countless students throughout his teaching career. James achieved GM’s highest designation, GM World Class Technician, in 2017 while working at SSC. Congratulations on your retirement, James, and thank you for your many years of service and dedication to your students and the GM ASEP program!
