These are dogs about to enter our September handler course. Muzzle work is a progression involving much more than equipment, understanding pitfalls in muzzle work and where the process breaks down is essential. Understanding how to decoy for muzzle work development to bring about the best results is critical! Come join us at ATK9 in October to learn about this process! Decoys, stop helping the dogs! Are your decoys making mistakes that are keeping dogs in a reactive aggression mindset? You think you are helping but you are actually hindering their development!

Jerry Bradshaw explains why so many "reactive" dogs were never actually taught to initiate and explains how to build proactivity out of reactive aggression, instead of quietly training around it. New episode out now, link in bio.

Just put the hot dog in your mouth! Really!

Jerry Bradshaw's tip for getting your dog to find your face is exactly that simple to start. But this episode goes way deeper than the lure phase.

Latest Controlled Aggression covers the full progression on mandatory eye contact: building duration before distance, moving from negative reinforcement to positive punishment, transitioning to variable rewards, and generalizing for everything the decoy might throw at them on the field. Great for Police K9 Handlers that want to eventually do casting work as well! .co
