Tomorrow is golf tournament day! Though we don't have a formal auction happening, we do have these two beauties that were donated by Ricky Ziblay- made by him and his son, Jacob. Specific measurements on each- 36 x 20 on the flag and 16x32 on the cross. They'll be part of a silent auction tomorrow during the tournament. If you'd like to bid but can't attend, you can send a text to 919-777-3347. Thanks to everyone for their support and a huge thanks to Ricky and Jacob. 💛

These two teams couldn't have played a closer round of golf than what we saw today. They both brought their A games and we had a great time watching them fight it out in the playoff. Congrats to what we are calling co-champions this year: Zane Lewis, Walter Brinker, Noah Britt, Chris Brown, Randy Lanier, Carson Lanier, Shane Lanier, and Sam Bradley. We had another fabulous day at the golf course. Who would have thought after the all day rain on Friday that we would have such a picture perfect golf day on Saturday? We saw some great golf, had lots of volunteers, sold a bazillion t-shirts, and gave away some amazing raffle prizes- all in support of the Josh Britt Scholarship Fund. Two past winning teams tied for first place, but Lanier and Co. came out on top after a three hole playoff. Congrats to this year's winners: Randy Lanier, Shane Lanier, Chris Brown, and Carson Lanier (pictured with Jill and Jeff Britt).

A little hurricane isn't going to stop this golf tournament. We're looking forward to a great day of golf and fellowship. Come out to see us at Sanford Municipal Golf Course to take a peek at the silent auction items. A last minute add to our offerings is a pair of Braves tickets. Auction will run til 5:00 p.m. Sunday and items are listed in a public album on Wendy Wicker Phillips' fb page. You can bid via call or text. Thanks to all the players, hole sponsors, people who donated, and to today's volunteers. It's going to be a BIG day.

We're about a week away from this year's Josh Britt Memorial Golf Tournament. This is our primary fundraiser for the year and all proceeds go directly to the JDB scholarship fund. Thanks to those of you who always step up and help by playing, sponsoring holes, and volunteering. If you or a business or organization would like to sponsor a hole, we'd love to add you to our list of amazing sponsors. And don't forget about the silent auction that will be going on this year. We have gift certificates from local restaurants, golf packages, and much more up for grabs. We'd appreciate any additional donations and hope to have lots of bids for these great items. Again, 100% of those proceeds go right back to the JDB scholarship fund. The silent auction will take place at the golf course during the tournament.

An album of pics from tournament day has been posted. Thanks again to everyone who participated as a player and/or a volunteer.
It was a beautiful day for the 5th annual Josh Britt Memorial Golf Tournament. There was some good golf played, memories made, and funds were raised to go towards the scholarship awards this spring. Thanks to all the players and volunteers who helped to make this year another success.
