We are incredibly proud that Sanford Middle School’s student leaders were present at the first SCCPTA General Meeting and Training of 2026–27! 💙💛

Our students are not only the reason behind everything we do, they are emerging leaders whose ideas, voices, and perspectives matter. Giving them a seat at the table helps build their confidence and prepares them to lead with purpose.

At our first SCCPTA General Meeting & Training of 2026–27, one of the most meaningful sights was seeing our students in the room and at the table. 💫

This year, we’re putting an even brighter spotlight on our students—creating opportunities for them to share their voices, express what matters to them, and be part of the conversations and decisions meant to support them.

We were proud to have student representation from Milwee Middle School PTSA, Seminole High School PTSA, LCMS PTSA, Hagerty High School PTSA, Crooms Academy PTSA, GEMS PTA, Sanford Middle PTSA, Tuskawilla Middle PTSA, Sterling Park Elementary PTA, Lake Mary High School PTSA, Bear Lake PTA, Lake Howell High School PTSA
Different schools. Different ages. Different perspectives. One powerful student voice. 🌟

Because when we say Every Child Shines, we mean making sure our students know they are seen, heard, valued—and that they have a seat at the table.

Building a stronger partnership between Sanford Middle School and our SMS PTSA! 💙💛

On Thursday, Our Principal, Dr. Coleman, and SMS PTSA President Steven Young attended the Seminole County Council PTA’s Annual Principals and Presidents Breakfast.

We sincerely thank Dr. Coleman for her continued support, collaboration, and commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for our students and families.

We are also grateful to Steven Young and our dedicated PTSA team for their leadership and service.

When our school, families, and PTSA work together, we create a stronger Warrior community where every student has the opportunity to shine! 🌟

Today, members of your Sanford Middle School PTSA Board attended the first SCCPTA General Meeting of the school year! 💙💛

It was a great morning connecting with vendors, learning about new resources, and meeting other PTA leaders from across Seminole County. We’re excited to bring what we learned back to SMS and continue building connections that help support our students and school community!

Back-to-school safety continues with an important reminder for drivers.

School crossing guards are there to help students get across the street safely. When you see a crossing guard, slow down, stop when directed, and give students plenty of space to cross.

A few extra seconds of patience can make a big difference.

Stay alert, keep crosswalks clear, and help us keep our students safe.

Sanford Middle School - Math, Science, and Technology Magnet

Sanford Middle School parents and guardians, we want to remind you about the importance of following the designated morning drop-off procedures to help keep our students safe. Our School Resource Officers are working closely with school staff to help keep students safe and traffic moving smoothly.

Please keep these reminders in mind:

-Use the designated student drop-off line. Please do not stop in the middle of 18th Street to let your student out of the vehicle.

-Do not drop students off at the corner store.

-Keep the drop-off line moving. Once you reach the appropriate drop-off area, please allow your student to exit the vehicle safely and continue through the line.

-Please do not remain parked in the drop-off line.

Thank you for helping us create a safer and smoother morning arrival for everyone at Sanford Middle School!
