St. Thomas EYC

A Couple of Announcements:
This Sunday, March 2 the Women of the Church are treating the EYC and youth of St. Thomas to a Pizza lunch and a play at The Temple Theater.

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper is March 5th. All available EYC members are asked to help serve plates in the lower parish hall.

We will be having EYC this Sunday (11/3). Sorry for the long hiatus~looking forward to seeing everyone. We will be going to Raven rock (so dress appropriately) and stopping for lunch on the way...

Pool Party after the 10:00 service. We will all ride over to Kelly's grandparents pool together. Pizza for lunch! Pick up at 2:30 on Valley Rd.

Sun. Sept. 8 is Kick off Sunday at church and our annual Ice Cream Social. The youth group is needed to help serve ice cream--and to eat it! Hope to see you there.

Reminder: We will be heading to Southern Pines (Penick Village) tomorrow for Stop! Hunger Now. We will leave St. Thomas at 9am and will call 30 min before our return (probably at about 1:00). Each person should bring $8-$10 for lunch at the soda shop in Aberdeen.

EYC happenings:

1. EYC will be hiding Easter Eggs (the hunt was postponed due to rain) this Sunday at 9:30a just before church. The kiddies will have their hunt after the service. Please come help hide them! We will also meet after church to have lunch and maybe...have a hunt of our own :-)

Ice Skating Fun!

Leaving for Penick Village in Southern Pines from St. Thomas' at 8:15 tomorrow morning (Sat. 4/2) to volunteer for Stop! Hunger Now. We will stop for lunch before coming home. Should be back to Sanford about 1:30pm but will have kids call you in plenty of time for pick up back at the church.

Just a reminder that we will have EYC this Sunday (12/19) from 11:30-1:30. Lunch will be provided and we will be delivering gifts to Oakhaven. Hope to see you there!

We will meet at 9:45 at St. Thomas for the Hunger Walk! It is not just for the EYC--anyone can walk with us. Pick up is at Depot Park at noon!
