WE’RE HIRING — Come Make a Difference With Us!
Seminole County Public Schools Student Support Services is looking for three exceptional individuals to join our Transition Services team. These are unique roles for people who are passionate about preparing students with disabilities for employment, independence, and life after high school.
🍎 Transition Resource Teacher
We’re looking for an experienced special educator who can lead, collaborate, problem-solve, and think beyond the classroom. This individual works alongside schools, families, IEP teams, community partners, and employers to help students move toward meaningful postsecondary outcomes.
đź’Ľ ESE Job Developer
Are you a relationship builder who can connect with businesses and see employment possibilities for every student? This role develops community partnerships and job opportunities while supporting students with disabilities through the job-search, application, and interview process.
🤝 ESE Job Experience Training Coach
This non-instructional position is perfect for someone who is patient, dependable, encouraging, and comfortable working alongside students in real-world settings. Our coaches help students build workplace skills through hands-on, on- and off-campus work-based learning experiences.
Who are we looking for?
People who believe students with disabilities are capable of meaningful employment. People who can build relationships, communicate well, adapt when things don’t go as planned, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
Most importantly, we’re looking for people who believe in what we believe:
Our students deserve more than a diploma they deserve a pathway to what comes next.
Interested or know someone who would be a great fit? Please share! Sometimes the right person is just one share away from finding us.
