That Sharpening Guy, more personally known as Kenny Hallam, is a business ironically born out of a passion for cooking and eating flavorful food. During decades of pursuing good eats, Kenny was constantly researching and slowly acquiring the best kitchen gadgets at a budget price. This ultimately led to a search for quality cutlery and a way to keep those tools sharp and well maintained. After spending countless hours sharpening knives for friends and family, his benevolence was transformed into a business. These days, in addition to sharpening kitchen knives, Kenny also has added pocket knives, hunting knives, garden tools, and scissors. That Sharpening Guy is committed to providing excellent blade sharpening services, quality products along with a bit of cutlery education.

I love repeat customers!! These guys have been faithful every year, bringing in their “tools of the trade” to be sharpened. I am a judgment-free sharpener, so bring me your knives, scissors, axes, machetes, or whatever else you want sharpened, for reasons I will not ask about. You can find me at the Oviedo Farmers Market this Saturday, 10/3/26, from 9am to 2pm. Just a reminder, sharpening is done on a “first come, first served basis
“Unknown material” left on the blade will be removed at no extra charge if you mention this ad.

Just a heads up, I will not be at the Farmers Market in November and December

So whatcha ya grillin next week? Rock that grill and don't waste time in the kitchen using dull knives. Come see me tomorrow, 9/20, from 9 am to 3 pm at Cavallari Gourmet in Oviedo to get your knives sharpened. While you’re at it, bring some of those dull garden tools and scissors too! Just a reminder, it is first come, first served.

Prepping your Boston butt for the smoker and discovered your butter knife is the sharpest knife you have to trim it with? THAT is what I call nooooooooo fun. I can help you! Come see me at Cavallari in Oviedo today Sunday 7/19 from 9am until 3pm to have your knives sharpened and make cooking fun again. While you are at it, bring me some of those dull scissors and garden tools too.
