This week we are highlighting our STREAM Specialist, Mrs. LaTasha Marsh. Our scholars put their Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STREAM) skills to work this week with an exciting Cup Tower Challenge!

Working collaboratively, scholars were challenged to plan, design, build, test, and improve a structure using cups. As they worked to create the tallest stable tower, they practiced problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, creativity, perseverance, and teamwork.

Hands-on experiences like this allow scholars to learn that engineering is about more than building—it’s about trying an idea, learning from what happens, and making improvements!

Dear Rising Leaders Academy Families,

Due to the threat of flooding in our area, Rising Leaders Academy will dismiss today July 23, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority.

Carpool will begin at 12:45 a.m. Please make arrangements to pick up your child promptly. Buses will run.

Additionally, tomorrow, July 24, 2026 will be a Virtual Learning Day. Teachers will provide students with the necessary instructions and assignments.
