UHSAA are adding a competitive factor to the realignment process.
📊 UHSAA REALIGNMENT UPDATE: Understanding the CRI
As we continue the 2027–29 realignment process, we’re sharing the Composite Realignment Index (CRI) used as part of the process to classify UHSAA member schools.
The CRI brings together three factors:
🏫 School Enrollment
📊 Socio-Economic Status (SES)
🏆 Competitive Performance
The goal is to provide a more complete picture of each school by considering more than enrollment alone.
Today, we’re sharing the CRI information so our member schools and communities can better understand the data being used throughout the realignment process.
Realignment is a process, and there are still several steps ahead before classifications and regions are finalized for the 2027–29 cycle.
