About the caregiver:

Hi! 😊 My name is Anna Hansen and I am the director/caregiver at Little Darlings. I have always loved working with kids and my dream was to be a teacher. When I had my own children and daycare expenses were too much I decided to keep them home with me and start Little Darlings.

While I haven’t been in business long, I have 5 years experience in a licensed center. I worked with all ages infant to kindergarten. I spent most of my time with infants and toddlers. I have 2 daughters of my own. Ages 22 months and 3.5 years.

I am CPR certified and fully vaccinated, as are my girls. I have passed multiple background checks for different jobs and always tell parents I’d be happy to do another one. I have a lot of knowledge about kids and raising them. I’m happy to be available for advice or anything as well.

My home is a split entry and the upstairs living room and my youngest daughter’s room are the safe spaces I use for my childcare. I provide snacks and lots of fun activities. I choose a weekly/daily theme for the kids and we read books, do art projects, sensory projects, and sometimes field trips centered around those themes. For field trips it’s helpful to have parent volunteers to make them happen since I’m on my own.

Our family has 2 sweet senior dogs who are patient and careful with kids. I keep them downstairs most of the time since they are old and stairs are hard. ♥️
