Summer camp is such a gift, I am so grateful to spend it with these wonderful children ❤️ I love what I do! As I was hiding in the forest playing hide and see with our campers, I just kept thinking of camp as an ode, because I feel so much awe for it. Here is to my favorite week of the year!

The Spaceship, a stop along our hike route that has taken us to many destinations. Nature's playground is an endless story and stories are a powerful way to learn.

We have so much gratitude for the spots all through our forest school, each has a name. Stay tuned to see our Tree Cluster, Coyote Trail, Running Loop, Tire Fort, Oxalis Garden, Hazlenut Fort, and Bouncy Tree.

The "Coyote Trail" leads to our "Running Loop" where these two trees and old stump host the perfect little hideout, witch's cauldron, or restaurant kitchen...whatever a four year old's imagination can conjur! I've had some scrumptious meals here and it's a lovely spot to rest and play or run free on the loop path. I can still remember trees similar to this at my elementary school that I could climb inside and imagine, do you remember any special nature spots from your childhood?
