As an immersion program, Spanish is taught in the Spanish language and Spanish is used a minimum of 90% of the time in class. It not only teaches vocabulary but also language content through social situations that are important and interesting to children. My main goal is to foster a positive foreign language experience for each student :) I am originally from Chile, I am a proud mother of 3 bilingual children, and I have a passion for teaching my first language and sharing my culture. I have taught Spanish to children for almost 5 years now. I learned a second language as a child also so I can relate to your children. I have always spoken Spanish at home so I consider myself a native Spanish speaker. I have a BA degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish.
