I'll be offering Math classes, Essay Writing classes, Personal Development (a new course! not the same one as last year), and Biblical Literature ("The Biblical Arc" and some biblical poetry).

Some classes haven't been scheduled yet, but let me know if you'd like it and we will make sure to schedule it at a time that works for everyone!

2/3 Grade Math Practice - Thursdays 8:45-9:30 MST
Times tables and basic fractions, money, telling time

3/4 Grade Math Practice - Wednesdays 8:30-9:30 am MST
Practice regrouping, skip counting, place value, rounding, times tables and fractions.

5/6 Grade Math Practice - Tuesdays 9:30-10:30 MST
All fraction, decimal, percent skills plus order of operations.

Essay Writing - Wednesdays 11-12 MST
Ages 12+ Work on grammar, sentence diagramming, and practice the 5-paragraph expository and persuasive essay.

Biblical Poetry - Thursdays 11-12 MST
Ages 14+ Study the book of psalms and other selections of poetry, examining figurative language, parallels, shadows, and other literary patterns.

Spiritual Disciplines - Tuesdays 10:30-11:30 MST
Ages 14+ Learn about various spiritual habits. How can you structure your daily rhythm and your weeks/months around discipleship? Now that we're almost into summer and losing structure, I will mentor the teens on placing a structure into their life to not fall into idleness or spiritual forgetfulness!

Biblical Poetry class starts today, for 5 weeks. We are recording for anyone who joins late!

Babel – From the one, many. Done in the power of men. Men trying to reach heaven. Speaking many languages. Confusion. Scattered.

Pentecost – From the many, one. Done by the power of God. Heaven reaching down to men. Speaking on language. Understanding, Unity and gathering.

The Bible has such amazing, complex literary patterns. I've been learning more and more. Can't wait to teach this to my students next year!

I'll be offering a few different 4-week courses in May.* Each course is $50 for the month ($40 for additional courses for any family member).

Third Grade Math Practice - Wednesdays 10-11 MST
Practice regrouping, skip counting, place value, rounding, times tables and fractions.

Fifth Grade Math Practice - Tuesdays 9:30-10:30 MST
All fraction, decimal, percents skills plus order of operations.

Algebra (8/9 Grade math) - Thursdays 10-11 MST
Systems of equations, inequalities, and more practice manipulating equations.

(6th and 7th Grade math practice pending for further interest)

Essay Writing - Wednesdays 11-12 MST
Ages 12+ Work on grammar, sentence diagramming, and practice the 5-paragraph expository and persuasive essay. We may also do narrative; but for descriptive writing, please do the Biblical poetry class.

Biblical Poetry - Thursdays 11-12 MST
Ages 14+ Study the book of psalms and other selections of poetry, examining figurative language, parallels, shadows, and other literary patterns. Homework will be very light.
