Along with my love of hairstyling and cosmetology, I am also a mom of one! My little guy, Bentley, is 7 (going on 8) and inspires me every day to be a better human! He is the main reason I am going back to school to pursue a career in cosmetology, specifically hairstyling and microblading! Bentley really enjoyed trick-or-treating in the neighborhood that borders the school - we could see it through the fence! They were so thrilled to get, like, 5 *full-size* candy bars! 🥰

It was Hat Day at school today, and most of the kids participated for Red Ribbon Week. This Utes hat was one of my dad’s, one he had never worn so it must have been special. 💕 🥰

Bentley and I had a play date at Bear Park with one of his school friends and his mom. It was really fun and cool to meet new people! 😊

Bentley started karate classes at Bobby Lawrence, right up on the corner of 13th & 94th by Dairy Queen. He’s only been to one class but so far is having fun, and has a white belt test on the 24th. 😊🥋

I was so happy to hear during parent-teacher conferences, that Bentley is doing exceptionally well well so far in 1st grade!

An inside shot of the 1st grade “pod” — I love how the classrooms are separated by windows, not walls! There’s tons of natural light coming into this place, which I also love. Such a nice school that these kids are lucky to have access to!

The playground in back is sweet, too, and Bentley just loves the swings! 🥰
