Students at Grace Lutheran learn civics and are taught respect for our nation and its symbols. Our new U.S. flag was just dedicated by teachers and students to fly over the school, following its previous display over the U.S. Capitol.

Not just a gathering—something far greater.
In a world that often treats church as a place we go to do something for God, the Lutheran confession turns that idea on its head. In Luther’s Small Catechism, we are taught that God is the One who acts first. He comes to us—through His Word and His Sacraments—to serve, forgive, and restore.
At Grace Lutheran Church, the Divine Service is not built on our effort, our emotion, or our performance. It is built on Christ’s promise to be present for His people. Here, He calls sinners to repentance. Here, He speaks absolution with certainty. Here, He strengthens faith through the preaching of His Word. And here, He gives His very body and blood for the forgiveness of sins.
This is not symbolic.
This is not just tradition.
This is not just community.
This is heaven touching earth—where grace is not something we chase, but something we receive.
