Saint Jude the Apostle Catholic School serves students from Pre-K 4 through 8th grade. The class size for kindergarten is 26 and 28 for 1st grade. St.
Our school population is approximately 500 students, kindergarten through 8th grade. There are two homerooms in grades K โ 5, 7 & 8, and three homerooms in grade 6. Generally there are 28 students in each of the 2 โ 5 classrooms. Middle School class sizes vary from 24 to 30. We draw students from a large area including Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Chamblee, Atlanta, Roswell, Marietta, Alpharetta, and
as far north as Cu***ng. All students are instructed in the core curriculum, which includes: religion, reading, literature, grammar, spelling, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. In addition, all students receive instruction in the enrichment programs, which include: art, computer science, music, physical education, and Spanish. Students are offered, and encouraged to embrace, additional activities and leadership opportunities. Some of these include the Student Council, Drama Club, Safety Patrol, Life Teen Band, Altar Servers, Oratorical Competition, Math IXL, Odyssey of the Mind, and Future City. Together with the family, the faculty and staff provide an atmosphere for moral development. Christian values, our Catholic beliefs and traditions, and a spirit of cooperation are the cornerstones of our program. Saint Jude the Apostle Catholic School is dedicated to the formation of students willing and able to serve God and the world by providing the guidance and instruction necessary to motivate students toward goals commensurate with their abilities. Effective June 2013, the schools in the Archdiocese of Atlanta are accredited through the District-wide Accreditation model sponsored by AdvancEd, parent corporation of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools(SACS).. Jude the Apostle Catholic School is also a member of the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA), Georgia Independent Schools Association (GISA), Association for Middle Level Education (AMLE), National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), and the Atlanta Area Association of Independent Schools (AAAIS). Saint Jude the Apostle Catholic School admits students of any race, s*x, color, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to all students at the school. Our precious PreK4 and Kindergarten students had a BLAST at camp getting acclimated to their new classrooms, teachers, friends, and school. From practicing their ABCs and 123s to making new friends and exploring their new surroundings, excitement filled every moment!
We loved seeing so many smiling faces as these future Saints and Scholars began their Saint Jude journey. We can't wait to watch them learn, grow, and thrive in the years ahead.

Yesterday, we had the joy of welcoming back our Class of 2022 Saints & Scholars for lunch, fellowship, and a fun trip down memory lane! Alumni enjoyed reconnecting with one another, catching up with former teachers, and even broke out into song singing the โHymn to Saint Jude!โ

Saint Judeโs first Principal, Sister Sally White, GNSH is lovingly remembered by her religious congregation, the Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart, and by the countless Saints and Scholars whose lives she nurtured here at Saint Jude the Apostle Catholic School. Her legacy of faith, service, and Catholic education will forever remain part of our school community.
The Saint Jude community is invited to attend a Memorial Mass in her honor on Thursday, May 21 at 10:00 AM.
