For their last chemistry class in May, students learned more about acids and bases with Mr. Campbell. In Mr. Campbell's own words: "When we think of things that cause strong corrosive reactions, we generally think of acids. However, this demo shows that bases are equally powerful!"

**Cumberland Academy of Georgia Announces New Head of School**
ATLANTA, GA β Cumberland Academy of Georgia is excited to announce Jennifer St. John as its new Head of School, succeeding Debbi Scarborough, who transitions to Founding Director to focus on strategic growth and the College at Cumberland.
Ms. St. John previously served as Associate Head of School and brings two decades of leadership experience in K-12 education. Her role ensures a smooth transition while Ms. Scarborough continues daily collaboration with her.
"Jennifer has a proven record in driving positive change and fostering exceptional teams," said Scarborough. "I look forward to our continued partnership shaping the future together."
With a Masterβs in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas and extensive experience in program development, Ms. St. John advocates for the neurodivergent community alongside being a mother to an adult son with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
