Kim brings over 18 years of teaching experience and a strong background in music education. She specializes in Piano, Violin, Viola, and Voice, helping students build confidence, healthy technique, strong musicianship, and a lifelong love of music. 🎹🎤

With both Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Music Education, Kimberly has taught in public schools in both Georgia and New York and has worked with students of all ages and experience levels. Her patient, encouraging teaching style makes lessons engaging, rewarding, and fun!

Today we celebrated someone who has been such a huge part of the Sandy Springs Music family for the past 10 years........Rebecca 💙

Rebecca has taught voice and piano here for a decade, and in that time she’s impacted so many students and families. She’s taught some students from the time they were little kids all the way through graduating high school, and has been part of countless memories, recitals, accomplishments, and milestones along the way.

She’s been an incredible teacher, coworker, mentor, and friend, and our studio truly would not be the same without everything she’s poured into it over the years.

As hard as it is to say goodbye, we’re so excited for her as she gets ready to welcome her baby boy in just a couple weeks and begin this next chapter of life ❤️

We celebrated her today with cupcakes and lots of hugs. Rebecca, we are going to miss you dearly, and we can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done for our students and our studio family over the last 10 years!

🌟 Student Spotlight – April 🌟

This month, we’re excited to recognize Vehaan Gupta, one of our wonderful violin students! 🎻

As his instructor, Jessica, shared:
“Vehaan is a dedicated and hardworking student who approaches each lesson with focus and determination. He is always curious and eager to learn, and it has been wonderful to see his steady improvement. Along with his strong work ethic, Vehaan has a kind and sweet personality that makes him a joy to teach.”

We’re excited to recognize Connor as our Student Spotlight for March at Sandy Springs Music!

Connor was nominated by his piano instructor Mel, who shared:

"Connor is a wonderful piano student! He comes to lesson with a happy-go-lucky attitude and a can-do mindset. Connor often surprises me by going ahead in the lesson book in addition to his assigned homework. Recently, Connor decided to learn how to play Fur Elise on his own! He goes above and beyond in his lessons and is a true joy to teach."

Connor’s dedication, curiosity, and positive attitude make him a fantastic example of what consistent practice and a love for music can accomplish. We’re so proud of the progress he’s making and can’t wait to see what he learns next!
