Drop-off begins at 7:30 AM in the morning and evening dismissal is at 3:00 PM. If you are later than 7:50 AM and the library doors are closed, you will need to walk your child in the office and sign them in. Remember, everyone has to have a state issued ID to enter the building. Thank you!

We can’t wait to welcome our incoming kindergarteners to Kindergarten Camp at Elliott County Primary School! 🌈📚

👨‍👩‍👧 Parent/Guardian Meeting: 8:30 AM in the library

This is a wonderful opportunity for students and families to meet school staff, learn about school routines and procedures, and get ready for an exciting first day of kindergarten!

🍎 Breakfast and lunch will be served. (Lunch is corn dogs and french fries)
🚨 Please note: Bus transportation will NOT be available for Kindergarten Camp. Parents/guardians will need to provide transportation to and from school.

Let's make safety a top priority by knowing the rules of the road. Drivers need to know how a new Kentucky law (KRS 189.370) impacts what they should do if they see a bus with red flashing lights and an extended stop arm:

• When this occurs on a road with more than two lanes that doesn't have a raised or unpaved median, traffic in all directions and lanes must stop.

• The only exception to this law is on a four-lane or more road that includes a raised or unpaved median. In this instance, traffic opposite to the extended stop arm may proceed.

The Kentucky State Police's top priority is keeping everyone safe at school, work, home and on the road.
