And a little more autumny arty fun from our 4:00 ART FOR ALL AGES crew!

It's always fun to see how many different creations can come from the same project! Today's magazine textures became colorful fall branches, each one completely unique.

Thanks to everyone who joined us today and spent a little time creating with us!

ART FOR ALL AGES is held the third Friday of each month, 11:00-12:00 & 4:00-5:00.

Please Consider Donating...

For The Great Give Back program this year, Ainsworth Memorial Library is partnering with the other Oswego County Libraries in collecting supplies for the North Country Library System care kit program.

Our library is collecting bar soap and hand sanitizer (trial-size, spray, and/or mist) from October 1-31. There is a collection box located in the DVD room by the side door.

The Great Give Back is a community service initiative created by public libraries in New York State to provide meaningful, service-oriented opportunities for patrons. The NCLS care kit program provides free, on-demand access to essential hygiene and cold weather items at member libraries.

HAPPENING TODAY, 2:00-3:00! Session 3 of NATURE'S DESIGN LAB Homeschool STEAM!

As well as learning about the amazing hexagon, we'll talk more about the resources and challenges in various biomes, and review what we've learned so far about awesome animal adaptations to start taking notes on features that could help the animals we'll design in Session 6 survive and thrive in our chosen biome.

On Monday October 12 our Adventure Story Time at 11am was packed with old friends and new due to school being closed for Columbus/Indigenous Peoples Day. We made scarecrows using shapes and our faces, colored some pictures and used dot stickers to decorate a scarecrow face.

Join us on Monday October 19 at 11am for Adventure Story Time where we will be reading a book about Donuts. Then after the story and fun activities we will be making our own donut to take home and having a tasty treat.
