The summer EMT Course is open for enrollment. This course begins July 7, 2026 and runs through September 22, 2026, 9:00am - 5:00pm. It is Hybrid format, with in person classes every Tuesday. In addition to classroom hours, students are required to complete 48 hours of EMS clinical ride-along.
Cost of the course is $975.00 in-county
$1200.00 out-of-county
Payment plans are available with prior arrangements.

Instructor Coordinator course update. We are working to finalize the course and it will be posted for enrollment this week. The cost of the course is 775.00 for Sanilac County Residents and 1000.00 for non residents this does not include textbook . The course will start in September with a tentative seated class day of Tuesdays along with utilizing a Google Classroom format .

Congratulations goes out to our students in our Spring EMT Course. These students successfully completed the course today and are now eligible to take the National Registry exam. Please help us in wishing them good luck on the next phase of their journey towards becoming EMTs!
To all prospective Instructor Coordinator Students. The course will start after Labor day. Details will be determined as to what day will be the seated day ( never a Wednesday). I will be updating our website once enrollment can begin. Tuition does not include the textbook

Due to overwhelming interest in the Instructor Coordinator Course. The Summer EMT class has been cancelled and revisted to hold in the fall. All education updates are found on our website.
The Summer EMT Course is up on our Website for enrollment. June 1st enrollment will close. If we do not have the minimum required students, the course will be cancelled and rescheduled for the Fall of 2026.
Sanilac Medical Services is wanting to host a full Instructor Coordinator Course within the next few months, like either August or September. We are looking for interest, so please coment below or email Amy Herek at [email protected]. This will be ran as a hybrid course, with one day a week seated in our classroom. Information to follow, once we see if there is ample interest. Once verified, the course will then be posted on our website.

Our Spring EMT course is in full swing. We have had a lot of training going on around here, and some days you just have to take it outside. Let the sun shine!!!
Here you can see our EMT students responding to a simulated trauma out on the lawn. This is a perfect set up for scene safety, patient care, and treatment.

Our Paramedic students had a "walk in geriatric shoes" lesson. Walking with neuropathy, trying to sort meds with poor vision and crippling arthritis. Giving them a good understanding of what elderly patients go through on a daily basis.
