Infant Botulism Outbreak Linked to Infant Formula - Nara Organics Whole Milk Organic Infant Formula powder

‼️At this time, no cases of infant botulism linked to this formula have been identified in Michigan. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) is sharing this information for awareness.‼️

On June 13, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced a current multistate outbreak of infant botulism linked to Nara Organics Whole Milk Organic Infant Formula powder.

Infant botulism is a rare but serious illness that can happen when a baby swallows spores of Clostridium botulinum bacteria.

We have some exciting news!

Mama’s Mission has been approved through Eastern Michigan Food Bank to launch the Meet Up & Eat Up Summer Feeding Program! 🎉

Starting Monday, June 15th we will be providing FREE hot meals for kids 18 and younger three days a week to help ensure no child goes hungry this summer.

📅 Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays
⏰ 11:00 AM – Noon
📍 Community of Christ Church
122 Croswell Ave., Croswell

We are looking for volunteers to help make this program a success! We need help with:

🍎 Serving meals
🥪 Food preparation
📦 Set up and clean up
❤️ Helping create a fun and welcoming environment for our kids

This is a huge opportunity for our community, and we couldn’t be more excited to serve local children throughout the summer.
