Monroe Preparatory Academy Welcome to Monroe Preparatory Academy! We are an K-8, tuition-free, public charter school.

We are a tuition-free, public charter school serving EK-8 students throughout Sandusky, OH. Monroe Preparatory Academy prides itself on having a rigorous award-winning and accredited academic program that exceeds Ohio state standards to provide children a strong academic foundation and prepare students for college and career. We observe an extended school day in order to maximize learning time in each grade level. We offer the stability of caring and consistent staff and full day Kindergarten with an early entrance option for students who turn five years old before January 1.

Every Thursday morning at MPA, our administration hosts Pride Ticket Drawings, giving students the opportunity to win a variety of exciting prizes! Prizes include homework passes, MPA swag, the chance to play a board game with an administrator, ice cream at lunch, and more.

Each week, we randomly select 10 winners from our Pride Bucket. This is a fun and meaningful way to recognize students for demonstrating positive behaviors throughout the week while encouraging them to continue making great choices! Pictured are two of our wonderful students who showed Monroe Pride throughout this week. Way to go!

Today is Dolly Day, and MPA is taking the opportunity to recognize and celebrate our incredible staff members! 💕

Administration at MPA sees and truly appreciates the dedication and hard work our staff pours into our students each and every day from 9–5 (technically 7–4… and beyond!).

We hope you know just how much your commitment matters. The time, energy, patience, and care you give our students helps them thrive academically, socially, and personally in so many ways.

Thank you for all that you do for our students and for MPA! We appreciate you more than you know! 🪩💕
