Also, we would recommend that if you want more time to socialize with your East Chain Alumni friends and have no plans for lunch on Saturday, come out to Rose Lake Golf Course. They’re having a burger bar for $10 for all the golfers, bean bag tossers, and anyone else who wants to come hang out. Come join us! They’ll probably have the burger bar ready by 11:00.

Here’s where we landed—we are going ahead with the tailgate party tomorrow night at the GHEC-Truman homecoming football game against Wabasso. Tailgating starts at 6:00 and the game starts at 7:00. Wear your maroon and gold to get your free ice cream.
There are no planned reunion events for Friday evening. Let us know if you have any questions.

Hey everyone. Because of the heavy rain in the forecast for Friday evening, GHEC has moved the football game to Thursday evening. We’re working on a plan for Friday evening. Stay tuned.

Week from tonight is the tailgate party at the football field in Granada and it kicks off our weekend of East Chain All School Reunion events. Can’t wait to see everyone. Come on out, even if you didn’t get your RSVP sent. We’d love to see you and have you help celebrate everything that made ECHS such a special place. I’ll be wearing one of these!!

Over 140 have registered for the banquet, around 60 for the tailgate party, 32 for the golf tournament, and a dozen for the bean bag tournament. There will be a burger bar at the Rose Lake Golf Course for all the golfers (not included in entry fee), bean bag folks, and anyone else who wants to stop in and hang out for lunch on Saturday. Plenty of room for more!!

Check these out!

Two weeks from tonight is the first event of a loaded weekend of East Chain All-School Reunion events! Get out all your old EC jerseys, warmups, letter jackets, or whatever and wear them to the Homecoming football game. Anyone wearing school colors gets free ice cream that night.

Check in at the EC Alumni welcome table at the tailgate party to get your coupon for the free ice cream or just to say hello and register your presence with us there that night.

Also, if you have any EC trivia, send our way and we’ll put it in for the banquet on Saturday.

If you haven’t sent in your RSVP, reach out to us and we’ll get you registered.

We had our last reunion committee meeting yesterday morning and we are set to go for a great reunion weekend of events in September. The RSVPs are coming in nicely. The “deadline” was August 14th, but we know how that goes, but please get them ASAP so we have as accurate number as possible for our caterer (Tami’s on the Ave) and all our events by next week. Spread the word and if you know an alumni who didn’t get an RSVP and would like one, please reach out asap. Thanks!
