What an incredible day of teamwork!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to help prepare the campground. Your time, energy, and willingness to serve made a tremendous impact.

A special thank you to Carrie Tolley for organizing such an amazing group of volunteers, and to Jana Hershberger for all your hard work and dedication.

Together, we cleared ๐ญ๐ก๐ซ๐ž๐ž ๐ก๐ฎ๐ ๐ž ๐Ÿ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ง ๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ฌ, opening up so much space that we've nearly doubled the campground's available area for tents and campers. What once felt crowded now has room to welcome even more people into this beautiful community.

๐‘ญ๐’–๐’ ๐’˜๐’Š๐’•๐’‰ ๐‘ญ๐’๐’“๐’‚๐’ˆ๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ!

Thank you to the plants and all the special gifts that they bring for us! Today we focused on Arnica and Blue Camas. With the abundance of both, we were able to really dive in and study these plants in my foraging and herbal medicine making class at the Wild Womens Rendezvous

With Arnica, we made arnica oil, a liniment and a beautiful flower essence. Arnica is all about healing trauma. The oil and liniment brings blood flow to our muscles, alleviating bruising and helps them to heal fast. Do not apply to open wounds or take orally! The flower essence helps with healing of emotional trauma.

With Blue Camas, we harvested the bulbs and slow roasted them over the fire in a dutch oven. The flowers were sauteed up by .We shared them with our sisters for dinner.
