While Dub and ๐™น๐š˜๐š•๐š’๐šŽ ๐™ป๐š˜๐šŸ๐šŽ ๐™ป๐šŠ๐š›๐š˜๐šž๐šก are out hunting squirrels, Iโ€™m back at Sacred Cedars, preparing the land for our 3-day Wilderness Survival Campout! I didnโ€™t do this all ALONE though. I had help over the past month to get this land cleaned up. With multiple dead trees and debris laying all over the place, it was a mess! This is an act of fire suppression as well as being nice to walk-through the Cedar Forest. I have so much gratitude for those who helped me with the expansion of the campground. Carrie Tolley and her family, Jana Hershberger, the daughters of Fiona Hicks, Pam Silvis, the son of kirstenlongmeier and Isaac! Thank you so much! It lifts my heart to look at this land and feel the freedom to walk through the trees with ease! โ™ฅ๏ธ

I just have to say how amazed I was to see the enthusiasm everyone took to follow through on this challenge. First the ice bath, then to create an ember using the Rudiger Roll method. As your instructor for this challenge, Iโ€™m so damn proud of you all! And most of you chose grass and not the Fiber light, which would have been the easier route. DANG! 100% success!
