Our Ridge Road Elementary Jr. Pro Cheerleaders brought smiles and excitement to Ridge Road Primary today as they visited classrooms to share their love of reading.

The Waco Reads literacy task force began four years ago with community partners collaborating to promote early childhood literacy initiatives in Washington County. Today, Raven Smith, from the Washington County Health Department, shared a wealth of information with us on available resources for families. Working together to support our little ones and our families in Washington County, important work!

Had a great time seeing families in Washington County come out for the Back to School Bash this morning! We ran out of books! Will see everyone at Ridge Road’s Open House on August 5th from 2-6. Bringing lots of books there to send home with families!

Tomorrow’s the day at Ridge Road! Ready to see some reptiles, owls, hawks and other wildlife? Come enjoy some family time learning about local animals. Program starts at 1 in Media Center at Ridge Road!

Make plans now to join us next Tuesday for our final summer reading day at the Ridge Road Complex Media Center! Georgia Southern University will be joining us with their wildlife exhibit. The program begins at 1:00!
