Keystone Archery

Day one of Archery Camp is done. The kids had a good time, and got some shooting at other than just bullseyes! We shall see what's in store for tomorrow!

Archery camp for this year is set to begin on Tuesday, May 19th and go through Thursday, May 21st. Show time is 9:00 AM and ends at 12:00 PM. The last couple of years have had a pretty good turn-out and the kids had a great time. We will be sending out notes with the kids towards the end of the school year.

The 2014-2015 archery season came to a fitting end today. Our 6/7/8th grade team won the conference championship, took first through third place girls, and first through third place boys. We are so proud of these kids and their accomplishments this year. GO RANGERS!!

Today is our last competition of the season. 6/7/8th grade Lake Country Conference shoot. We will depart the school at 4:00 P.M. And start shooting at 5:00. Come on out and support these awesome kids!

The Lake Country Conference shoot went off tonight without a hitch. I think we hosted a nice shoot and look forward to many more. Being that it is our first year in the conference, we were able to compete, but not eligible to win a team trophy. However, Parker Hailing took the First Place Boy medal with a very impressive score of 277! Way to go Parker! The last event of the season is the 6/7/8th grade conference shoot at Pretty Water this Thursday at 5:00 P.M. Hope to see a good turnout there.

Today our kids shot at the State tournament. Everyone did a great job. We were just shy of qualifying for nationals by 14 points. Thanks to all the family members who came out to support these wonderful kids! Next week is our last competition of the season with the Lake Country Conference tournaments.

We are proud to announce that today our 4/5th grade team competed against the 5/6th grade teams of Prue and Jennings and took second place. Preston Berg took 3rd place boy, and Faith Nelson took 3rd place girl. Great job today!! Let's carry this momentum to the state shoot Friday!

Our kids did excellent today. We took first place team; second place boy; first, second and third place girl! Great job Rangers!!

6/7/8th Grade shooting at Prue today. Let's go Rangers!!

The 7/8th grade shoot at Prue is still on for Thursday the 12th. Bus should be departing between 9:15-9:30. Students need to bring a lunch with them (pizza and such will NOT be available). We should be shooting around 1130. A reminder note will be sent home with students tomorrow. See you all there!

Let's get the word out. Get out to your normal voting precinct and vote for the Keystone bond today. Polls are open until 7:00 PM. Get a two-for-one and go to the school tonight for family reading night and vote while you are there.

Our school is trying to pass a bond to get new busses, heat/air systems, doors & locks and text books. The election is Tuesday, Mar 3rd. Make sure to get out and vote!
