They competed the CPR and First Aid Awareness Course through the Sand Springs Fire Department!

What a way to wrap up the Sandite Archery season! 🏹💛🖤

This week, our middle school team competed at Eastern Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky alongside 15,000 archers from across the nation — a FIRST in Sandite Archery history! We could not be more proud of how these students represented Sand Springs Public Schools on the national stage.
The team shot a 3,154, beating our team goal by 11 points! Even more impressive, we had SEVEN personal best scores at Nationals — no small feat when the pressure and nerves are at their highest.

We are incredibly proud of these archers and their dedication not only to archery, but to their academics as well. This team continues to prove what hard work, perseverance, and sportsmanship look like.

To finish out the season, we also made some unforgettable memories together — team dinners, laughs, pin trading with archers from all over the USA, standing in two different states at once, catching a Cards game, visiting the St. Louis arch, visiting Churchill Downs and even ziplining through a cavern… yes, really! 🤩

Thank you to all of our parents, families, administrators, and supporters who helped make this season possible. What an amazing year for Sandite Archery! 💛🏹🖤 Looking ahead to next year, we’d like to qualify for nationals in all three divisions and take an elementary, middle school and a high school team to compete at the national level!🤩

🏹 On Target for Nationals!

The Clyde Boyd Middle School Archery Team is headed to the National Archery in the Schools Program Eastern Nationals in Louisville this week! After a strong season and impressive performances, these Sandites have earned the opportunity to compete on one of the biggest stages in school archery.

We’re proud of this team and Coach Gina Myers for their focus, discipline, and sportsmanship. As they take aim at nationals, they’re representing Sand Springs with pride.

Madelyn set a goal to hit 10 50’s before we head to Eastern Nationals next week and today she achieved that!!! So excited for her! That consistency and hard work is paying off!🤩🎯

This first year of Work Together Wednesday between Clyde Boyd Middle School and Pratt Elementary has been nothing short of amazing! 💛🖤 We enjoyed our final session of the year today!

Our middle school students have truly stepped up, learning what it means to be mentors, leaders, and role models. Week after week, they’ve shown patience, kindness, and encouragement while building meaningful connections with their younger peers.

We are so proud of the way our students have grown—not just academically, but as compassionate leaders who understand the importance of lifting others up. The impact of these moments will last far beyond the classroom.

Here’s to many more years of learning, leading, and growing together! 💫

Our Work Together Wednesdays at Pratt have been such a great addition to the program this year! Last week, we enjoyed a nature walk to help kinders find evidence of Spring and some extra recess time enjoying the beautiful weather with our younger Sandite friends and Draco, the bearded dragon!😊

Our Sandite Archery team brought the pressure and delivered—earning 2nd Place High School Team, Tier 2 – East Region, at the 2026 Oklahoma NASP State Tournament, hosted by the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation.
This group showed incredible discipline, consistency, and teamwork on the line. Competing at this level takes more than skill—it takes focus, grit, and a whole lot of heart. And they represented Sand Springs with excellence. We’re proud of you, Sandites!
