The Sand Springs Board of Education gathered this month to recognize the outstanding contributions of students and staff who embody the heart of our district. During the regular June meeting, Sandites were honored with the Sandite Spirit Award and the Sandite Pacesetter Award.
These awards celebrate those within our community who go above and beyond to make Sand Springs Public Schools a premier place to learn and grow.

You're invited to Camp Read-A-Lot! 📚
This summer, the Oklahoma State Department of Education will host Camp Read-A-Lot in Sand Springs. This fun family literacy night is designed to help families support reading at home. Families will participate in interactive literacy activities, explore strategies that build strong readers, and receive resources to continue learning throughout the summer.

A Fresh Welcome for Page Academy!
As part of the 2024 Future-Ready Sandites bond, Page Academy’s exterior entryway has been updated with a new staircase, walkways, and signage to create a safer and more welcoming entrance for students, staff, and visitors.
These improvements are just one of the many ways the bond is helping us invest in our schools and our community.
We have our new entrance open and a new sign. Thank you, Sand Springs, for the bond approval that made this project possible.
