Congratulations to Charles Page High School senior Sophia Hart on being named an Academic All-State honoree by the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence! This award recognizes Sophia as one of the top 100 seniors statewide.

Hart shines both in the classroom and in competition. She serves as goalkeeper for the Varsity Girls Soccer team and has played the sport for 14 years. She is also a member of the Lady Sandites Powerlifting team and recently qualified for the state competition. She will travel to Durant on Monday to compete at the state level.

Her favorite subjects are science and math—areas where she clearly stands out. “Sophia is one of the most brilliant minds to step foot in my classroom,” said CPHS Algebra II/Geometry teacher Monica Graves. “What a well-deserved honor!”

Hart’s future is looking just as bright as her achievements to date. She has been offered full-ride scholarships from both the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University. She plans to double major in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

Sand Springs completes miracle comeback against Putnam City to advance to state The Sand Springs defense shut the Pirate rushing attack down in the second half. They outscored Putnam City 21-0 in the second half to complete its miracle comeback.

Congratulations to the Charles Page High School - Freshman Academy 2024-25 yearbook team! These Sandites have earned the Jostens National Yearbook Program of Excellence – Gold Level Award for 2025. This award celebrates storytelling, creativity, and the hard work of an incredible group of student journalists.

🏗️ Project Update: Sand Springs Administration Building Entry Addition
Things are wrapping up beautifully at the Sand Springs Administration Building! From the new entry tower and upgraded interiors to the freshly poured sidewalks and paving, the project is nearing the finish line.

It’s been exciting to see this addition come to life and enhance the historic campus in downtown Sand Springs. 👷♀️✨

Schools across Sand Springs are paying tribute to the brave individuals who have served our country. At Pratt Elementary, this Veterans Day is especially meaningful for the Quinnelly family. During Pratt’s Veterans Day assembly, brothers Bryson, Canyon, Tristan, and Presley Quinnelly got the surprise of a lifetime. The four boys reunited with their dad, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Ryan Quinnelly, who has been serving in the U.S. Armed Forces and was deployed to Africa for the past nine months. The surprise, arranged by the boys’ mom Piper, serves as a moving reminder of the sacrifices made by military families and the joy of having loved ones safely back home. Thank you to the Quinnelly family for sharing such a special moment with us, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to all veterans and active duty military for their service and sacrifice. #VeteransDay | #SanditeSpotlight
