Imagination Station Registered Family Home - RFH

Imagination Station Registered Family Home - RFH Imagination Station RFH is a registered and inspected childcare family home. It is located in Parker County Texas just outside Azle city limits.

The nearest intersection is highway 199 and Ash Creek Drive. My name is Tracy Valdez and I have been in childcare since 1981. I started out as a babysitter at my church when I was eleven. I had a steady group of regulars for several years. After high school, I attended the local junior college. During this time, I was the Lead Teacher for the three year old class at LaPetite Academy in Everman, Te

xas. In summers, I was the Lead Teacher for the school aged classes. I found my passion! I also discovered this radical thing called Registered Daycare Homes. We moved into a rental home and opened up Imagination Station RFH in White Settlement in 1991. In 1994, we moved into our first real home in Benbrook. My children were born in 1999 and 2001. We choose to home school them and decided to downsize to a listed home (reduced ratios) in order to participate more readily in homeschooling activities. In 2014, we moved to our current home in Sanctuary, Texas and remained listed here until June 2020. The down time during covid 19 closures allowed for us to prepare for the registration process without disrupting current clientele. Now, with both kids in college and beginning to lead their own independent lives, we are ready to give full dedication to our tiny charges. I have taken hundreds of training and preparation classes, attended dozens of workshops, and participated in many fairs and symposiums for advancement in early childhood education. I maintain CPR/First Aid certifications and current required trainings with Texas Health and Human Services. I look forward to engaging your child in healthy learning experiences.

I was a Texas Rising Star Provider before and will be acquiring that designation again. I have taken hundreds of training and preparation classes, attended dozens of workshops, and participated in many fairs and symposiums for advancement in early childhood education. I maintain CPR/First Aid certifications, current required trainings with Texas Health and Human Services, meet Texas Workforce CCS requirements for providing care to qualified families, and will begin Texas Rising Star certification next summer (earliest I can apply). I look forward to engaging your child in healthy learning experiences.
