With Cultural Homestay International - Central New Hampshire, Susan Dyment serves as your personal academic and family coordinator. Here's how it works:
1) Students apply for admission to CHI. Once admitted to the program, students come with spending money, health insurance and the desire to experience American culture.
2) Host families volunteer to provide room, board, and a supportive family e
nvironment. Families complete a vetting process and are provided orientation training to prepare them for a successful year.
3) A careful placement process pairs families with a student that is just right for their family. This ensures students and their volunteer host families are well-matched and suited for one another.
4) Once the student arrives for the school year, local support is provided by Susan throughout the school year for students, families, and their local schools. This ensures that all have the support they need for a fun, successful and mutually enriching experience.
5) Fun events throughout the year build a network of friends and families who support each other during this exciting year and in the years beyond.
