We had such a wonderful time at the Scholarship Soiree on Thursday, celebrating everyone who made the event so special.

Culinary Arts and Baking & Pastry Arts students prepared the evening's food stations and desserts, while scholarship recipients were recognized for their achievements.

We thank all of our alumni, local businesses, faculty, staff and community members for a lovely evening dedicated to investing in student success. ✨💙

Students in our Ecology Lab recently conducted surveys on species abundance, frequency, and density in a wildflower field on campus.

They learned to identify common plant species, designed their own research questions and methods, collected data using sample count methods with quadrats, and then analyzed their data, came up with conclusions, and topics for further study!

Yesterday, we were honored to welcome back SUNY Chancellor Dr. John B. King, Jr., Vice Chancellor Valerie Dent, and SUNY Trustee Eunice Lewin to highlight SUNY Reconnect.
This transformative SUNY initiative helps eligible adult learners earn an associate degree with tuition, books, fees, and supplies covered at no cost. During their visit, we were proud to showcase our programs, student resources, and the services that help our students thrive, including our childcare center, food pantry, and Annie’s Closet.

Have you met our therapy dog Lola? 🐶

She has been a Canine Good Citizen and certified therapy dog since 2021, volunteering for Pets on Wheels in Maryland and Paws for Love here in Western New York. She currently volunteers at Brylin psychiatric hospital, the Grand Island Library, and SUNY Niagara.

Come visit her at our National Hazing Prevention Week event tomorrow in the Learning Commons at 11:30am! 🐾
