Mrs. Durnin's 4th grade class built a volcano last week For science. Today they got to see the volcano erupt!! Kindergarten and 2nd grade also came to witness it.

This week Mrs. Walker's 3rd grade class learned about different graphs and data tracking. One fun activity they did was to graph the rainbow using different colored gummies. Not only was it fun, engaging, and a learning experience, it was also tasty.

Mrs. Saffell is the Amazing Art teacher at Copper Basin. She had a 'Bugs Life' Art Show today to showcase art that the K-8 students created. It was FANTASTIC!! Thank you Mrs. Saffell for bringing out the artist in them all!!

Copper Basin K8 would like to give a huge THANK YOU to Kandi Palandri and her kids for providing lunch to the entire Dust Devil Staff today!! We enjoyed every little bite!!!

Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week!!! Here are some ideas you can do for your teachers.

Mrs. Sinicrope's class learned about the function of bones, then used their knowledge to make inferences about the structure of dinosaur skeletons. Then they designed the skeletons out of pasta!

Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week and out Last Spirit Week of the school year. We can't wait to see all of the Star Wars bling!!!

The 5th grade students at Copper Basin went on a field trip to Skateland today. They had a S.T.E.M. lesson on Newton's Laws. Then, they were able to free skate for a while. They all had fun!!!
