It’s official! Please see the attached flyer for the San Tan Valley Community Festival taking place on Wednesday, July 1, from 7-9 PM as we come together to celebrate Independence Day, America’s 250th Anniversary, and San Tan Valley’s Operational Independence Day! The event and vendor submissions (see link below spots are limited) are both FREE. The night includes a FREE family themed drone show taking place on the Poston Butte High School football field. Spectators may watch from the home and visiting bleachers. Vendors will be assigned spots on the football field. A wonderful night of celebration.

Class of 2026 students from Poston Butte High School were recognized at the San Tan Valley Town Council meeting, on 5/20/2026, for their commitment to join the United States Armed Forces.

The students included:
Marines: Johnathon Loyd, Jacob Sharrer (not in attendance) and Wyatt Zurfluh.
Navy: Dylan Macauley, Joseph Ashley and Gage Schenewerk.
Coast Guard: Ayden Voakes and Robert McCann.

Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony will be on Thursday, 5-21-26 PBHS football field.
Parking lot gates will open at 5:30 PM – PCSO deputies will support with parking
Football gates will open at 6:00 PM for seating
Concession items available for purchase
No ice chest or coolers will be allowed into the ceremony
What is allowed: water bottles, hydros, blankets, seat cushions, camping chairs (may not be set up in main walk way areas)
Bus shuttles available from church parking lot and CAC parking lots starting at 5:30 PM
Handicap parking section in north lot closest to football entrance – PCSO will monitor parking area – placard needed on vehicle
There will be fireworks at the begin and end of the ceremony
Ceremony will begin at 8:00 PM
Parent/guardian pick up graduate diploma at north entrance at table on walkway
