When we pulled up to the first San Tan Valley Kids Market, the parking lot was packed—and getting into the Homestead Cottage was almost a challenge because so many people from the community had shown up to support these young entrepreneurs.

Inside were 15 booths completely run by kidpreneurs.

They were selling lemonade, jewelry, handmade bags, crocheted stuffed animals, homemade soaps, baked goods, bath bombs, and so much more.

And these kids weren’t just standing behind tables while their parents did the work.

They were running their businesses.

They started conversations with strangers.
Explained their products.
Packaged purchases.
Handled transactions.

We bought a bath bomb that turned our kids’ bath completely blue AND had a little toy hidden inside—and it was wild to think, a kid made this.

But my favorite part wasn’t what they were selling.

It was watching their faces.

Every time someone stopped at their booth…
Every time someone chose something they’d made…
Every time they made a sale…

They absolutely lit up. 🥹

To us, it might have been a few dollars spent at a local market.

To them, it was someone saying, “What you created is worth buying.”

And judging by how packed that building was, San Tan Valley showed these kids in a BIG way that their ideas are worth supporting. ❤️

Maybe years from now, one of these kids will be running a thriving business of their own.

And they’ll get to say it all started with a little table at the San Tan Valley Kids Market.

🎶Is your child ready for music lessons? 🎵

One of the most common questions I hear from parents is, “How do I know if my child is ready to start?”

The truth is… there isn’t one perfect age or checklist that fits every child. Every student learns and grows at their own pace!

Some signs your child may be ready:
•They love music and enjoy singing or dancing
•They’re curious about instruments or making sounds
•They recognize some letters (A–G)
•They can count and recognize numbers & patterns
•They can follow simple directions and focus for short periods of time
•They’re excited to learn something new

The most important thing isn’t being “perfect” before starting—it’s having curiosity, encouragement, and a willingness to try.

Parents:
-What age did your child start showing an interest in music?
-What instrument has your child shown interest in?

Share below—I’d love to meet the little musicians around town! 🎶

They’re not just selling crafts… they’re learning how to build a business. ❤️

When we sat down with McKell Bigelow, the organizer of the San Tan Valley Indoor Kids Market, one thing became clear:

This event is about so much more than kids selling things.

It’s about giving the next generation the opportunity to learn, grow, and discover what’s possible.

As McKell shared, she’s excited to watch these young entrepreneurs earn their first dollar, organize their own booth, talk with customers, solve problems, and build confidence along the way.

Those are lessons that can last a lifetime.

If you’re looking for a fun way to support local this weekend, stop by and cheer on these incredible young business owners. Your purchase may seem small, but it could mean the world to a child taking their very first step into entrepreneurship.

The people who give the most are often the ones who ask for the least. ❤️

If you’ve ever met Brandi, you know she’s the kind of person who shows up without being asked.

Through My Mother’s Pantry and countless acts of kindness, she’s spent years serving families in our community, often behind the scenes and without expecting anything in return.

Now, she’s walking through a difficult season of her own.

If you’ve ever been impacted by Brandi, or simply want to support someone who’s spent so much of her life serving others, this is our chance to give back.

❤️ Comment “LINK” below, and we’ll send you the information on how you can support Brandi.

Sometimes the people who carry everyone else need a community to carry them.
