HEY CLASS OF 2018!!!
Have you signed up for your senior portrait yet? Just call Studio One at (925) 361-0430 to book an appointment! If you want to have a senior quote, you need to have your portrait taken BEFORE SEPTEMBER 30TH.
The final deadline for your senior portrait is OCTOBER 31ST. After this date, we will no longer accept portraits and your photo will not be in the the 2017-2018 yearbook. This means that you will also not get to have a senior quote. Appointments fill up fast, so call them now to book yours! It is easiest to get appointments in June or July.
You should also start thinking about your senior quote. We will send out forms to turn in your quote at the beginning of the school year. Quotes need to be 130 characters or less (a little bit shorter than a tweet) and need to be school appropriate - admin will check every quote!

DVHS Triumph Yearbook
The Triumph is Dougherty Valley's annual student produced yearbook. Information and opportunities to be featured will be posted regularly.
The Triumph is Dougherty Valley's annual student produced yearbook, currently creating its tenth volume. This year, our goal is to increase coverage of the whole student body, and feature various student interests by reaching out to the students. Like for information on coverage opportunities, senior ads, etc.
FRESHMEN, SOPHOMORES, and JUNIORS- If you have any pictures/selfies you'd like in the yearbook for the class collage, now is the time to submit them!
Just create a folder on google drive with the photos and share it with: [email protected]
Each photo must be labelled with the names of the people in the photos, and their grade. Photos with unnamed people will not be included in the yearbook!

Make sure you'll be included in this year's book! If you want your photos to appear in the yearbook, now is the time to submit them. We're looking for selfies, photos of friends, classroom projects, sports, and general photos for collages of each class.

Seniors who submitted a senior quote should have all received correspondence from yearbook staff via the email [email protected]. Decisions to approve or reject quotes were made by admin. Please check your email and make sure you have received a message. If you have sent us something and not gotten a response, it may have been lost. If you have not gotten any emails, or have unanswered ones, please email us again.

Attention Class of 2015!
It’s time for you to begin submitting your senior quotes for the 2014-2015 Dougherty Valley yearbook! Please follow the instructions below to properly submit your quote for the yearbook by Friday Oct 10th:
1. Log into your SCHOOL EMAIL ACCOUNT. The login format is: [email protected] and password is ID #------. For example, Andrea Smith’s login would be [email protected], and password could be ID #121212. YOU MUST BE LOGGED INTO YOUR SCHOOL EMAIL TO BE ABLE TO VIEW THE FORM.
2. Visit the link below to complete the form. Make sure to format your quote as it details on the Google form, and remember the 160 character limit. Be sure to submit early, as quotes are “first come, first serve”. Keep in mind your quote will be reviewed by staff and/or admin and staff/admin reserves the right to withhold quotes deemed inappropriate. http://tiny.cc/dvseniorquote
i. Warning. Any quotes that are suggestive, crude, rude, insulting, inappropriate, obscene or containing profanity, codes, or other language that would be deemed inappropriate for a high school yearbook will NOT BE INCLUDED. DO NOT WRITE ANYTHING YOU WON'T WANT TO READ ABOUT/BE ASSOCIATED WITH IN 20 YEARS. IT WILL LIVE FOREVER AS PART OF YOUR SENIOR YEARBOOK. THINK CAREFULLY.
3. Within a few weeks, you will receive one of three responses in the regular personal email you provided us. Please follow the instructions that match with your response.
a. Your quote “________________________” has been approved! Your quote will appear exactly as it does here. Email us back ONLY IF there is something wrong with your quote.
i. Your quote has been approved; you have nothing more you need to do.
b. You will need to submit a new quote for the yearbook. Please send this new quote in a reply to this email that follows all the requirements previously stated. DO NOT submit your new quote to the link above.
i. We will continue to communicate with you via email until you have an approved quote. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU DO NOT CHECK/RESPOND TO YOUR EMAIL.
c. Your quote “______________________” was also submitted by NAME HERE. We have included both of you in this email. FIRST SUBMISSION submitted the quote first. Please let us know if you both are okay with having the same quote, or give us the quote one of you will change to. If there is no response from both people, the quote will be given to FIRST SUBMISSION and the other person will be required to submit another quote.
i. We will continue to communicate with you via email until the situation is resolved.
Please be mindful of the fact that we are going through 600+ senior quotes, and that we may not be able to reply to your emails or approve your quote right away. We will do all we can to get your (appropriate, Staff/Admin-approved) quote in the book, so please work WITH us, not against us. (The nicer you are, the more we’ll be willing to accommodate you!)
